I notice that many other Christian retreats listed online talk about Christian counseling but when I look at their websites they never talk about the Bible but only their secular training. Will that be the same with you?
No, I have been a Christian for 44 years and Theologically trained at Dallas Theological Seminary, a topnotch conservative seminary. I know and use the Bible in my work.
Since you say you will be using the Bible, does that mean you will beat us over the head with it?
No. I simply realize that most people have succumbed to a way of thinking that has happieness at the core and thus in their "chase" for it they are miserable. A new perspective is needed.

What methods do you use in your therapy?
To begin with you will find that I am highly interact and listen very closely. I don't have to be right and allow opportunites to discuss and certainly disagree. Based upon what I have heard I will take the time to make sure that what I believe I heard is actually what you have said. I also spend significant time in teaching new ways to think about situations. Along with this I give homework for follow-up.
