Why should you choose either one of these retreats?
If you are reading this you likely are in pain and want relief ASAP! I am in the business of giving hope and action to those in pain! I have had a great deal of success working with couples in crisis, especially infidelity. I also have been effective with anger issues, depression, anxiety and certainly with parenting problems. By challenging couples to discover the root of their problems, I am often able to help them see that their belief about the foundation of the problem is actually the problem. Many of my patients have become locked into a belief about the problem that is based upon a popular but unchallenged socially accepted lie. Together we challenge these "popular lies" and thus change the couple's perspective on the world. This can be very exciting and refreshing!
Finally, please consider this question: Do you want the same old thing offered by other therapists that only superficially deals with the problems by providing new TECHNIQUES? Or do you want to work on the foundational beliefs and suppositions underlying those issues? If you answered yes to the second question, you are in a great place. You are ready for real change. To begin with, since most issues that people present are about morals and values, I believe that a new moral baseline must be considered. I have seen, that by considering a Christian worldview and using the Bible as a guideline, that changes happen more rapidly and are longer lasting. Isn't that what we are all looking for?
